OUR STORY
We are a retired couple newly transplanted from working in Thailand for 15 years. We love to tell our stories to willing ears.
We are a global family. Our daughter is a holistic health and creativity coach and lives in Sevilla, Spain while our son is the General Manager of Virgin Active in Bangkok, Thailand. We enjoy visiting them both in one country or another at least once per year.
Enjoy the bright country night sky
Breathe the crisp, clear air of our woodsy property. Soak in the hot tub under the stars at night and access our year round creek, just a short, but mildly challenging walk during the day. Guests can fall asleep with the sights and sounds of water from the creek and a waterfall across our canyon.
ROOMS AND PROPERTY
Attic Studio
Enjoy our newly constructed, 500 sq. ft. attic studio apartment. You will have private access to a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, dining/living area, couch/futon, full bath, and king-sized sleeping loft overlooking a private creekside beach.
Your separate entrance leads to charming nature views as well as a guest deck with a gas barbecue and a shared hot tub available for your use.
This space is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet and respite from urban life.
Ground Level Studio
The space has a private entrance and is equipped with 2 twin beds made up as a king sized configuration, full bath and large living room area. The room has a private kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. A propane barbecue with side burner is provided.
You will have access to a large, covered deck equipped with a hot tub (that may be shared with our upstairs unit), hammock, gas barbecue and patio furniture.
Guests will enjoy falling asleep to the sights and sounds of water from the creek and a waterfall across the canyon of this listing.
Creekside Glamping
Our 30 acre property offers a Winnebago/Camping opportunity with electricity and flush toilet beside an isolated, private year round creek. The 32 ft. camper is adjacent to a 16’x18’ deck, just above a gentle, flowing creek. There is an adjacent, large swimming hole yards away from the gentle beaches. Free parking is available at our home, which is a short, but mildly challenging walk to the campsite. Guests fall asleep with the sights and sounds of the creek and a waterfall across the canyon.
The deck that abuts the door to the camper is fully equipped with furniture and stairs to the lower area leading to the creek. There are several seating and table places around the creek with a selection of views of the water. 50 yards from the camper is a large, cleared area that is suitable in which to pitch a tent for additional guests.
30 ACRES OF PURE NATURE
We open our home to adventurous souls to experience the calm and beauty of a natural surrounding and share our love for our property and its wonders. The Gold Country is an artistic cultural haven with a bounty of activities that we have listed for guests.
Guests are welcome to lounge by the creek on the deck by the waterfalls to have private picnics and relax and reflect in the peaceful atmosphere.
